Youth & Families - Our Priority!

Our Programs

Book Club

Our youth will improve their reading skills, enhance their vocabulary, and discuss reading to widen their horizons. The goal is to create meaningful and fun learning experiences during Book Club.

Kings and Queens (Life skills class)

We will be discussing respect, responsibility, critical thinking, communication, self-awareness, empathy, coping with stress, self-esteem, emotion, hygiene, and self-confidence. Each discussion will address the needs and experiences of the youth to better assist those in developing meaningful skills.

Art Club

We will be building team values, respect for themselves as well as others, and to help build their self-esteem. At the same time, we will be learning in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. For those that complete their project faster than others; they can help assist in a leadership role.

Creative Expression

Our Creative Expression Class with Robin Bentz focuses on creativity through dance, poetry, rhyming, drawing, and song. These forms of art are meant to increase the youth’s imagination, and help them become more creative, free thinkers.

STEM Buddies

The STEM group focuses on activities that revolve around science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, while promoting critical thinking, increasing science literacy, and enabling the next generation of future innovators.
